For the next issue of SLW News (July-August 2008) we are particularly interested in write-ups from this year's conferences. If you gave a presentation or led a discussion group, please consider turning it into an article for the next issue. And, if you went to a presentation that you think would be of interest to our members, please consider writing up a summary or asking the presenters to do so.
We also encourage submissions of articles, announcements, and brief reports on any issue of interest to second language writing professionals, including but not limited to reports on classroom-based research, assessment, advocacy issues, teaching techniques, and news from less-represented contexts (Pre-K through 12, two-year colleges, community programs, international K-12 schools, etc.).
The deadline for our next issue is June 30. Authors retain copyright.
